1. Mr Alex Karidis
Mr Alex Karidis, MD FRCS, is a highly respected and accredited cosmetic surgeon. He is a true expert in his field, having performed thousands of cosmetic procedures over the course of his career.
Born in Montreal, Canada, Mr Karidis developed a passion for the cosmetic industry. He studied for his medical degree at the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, then trained in the NHS before developing his specialism with accreditations from The British Association of Aesthetic Plastic Surgeons (BAAPS), the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Glasgow and the Hellenic Board of Plastic Surgeons.
He works solely from his private clinic which is based in the St John & Elizabeth hospital in St John’s Wood, London. The Karidis Clinic was founded in 1997.
Mr Karidis is renowned for his ‘invisible’ scarring techniques, leaving incredibly minimal postoperative scarring. Due to pioneering his own successful treatment methods and trialling the latest surgical devices, he is also one of the UK’s leading gynaecomastia surgeons.

2. Mr Thomas Jacques
Mr Thomas Jacques is a Consultant ENT and Rhinoplasty Surgeon. His cosmetic surgery practice is focused exclusively on aesthetic surgery of the nose (rhinoplasty). He has particular expertise in complex nasal deformity, and in functional septorhinoplasty (where a patient has difficulty breathing through their nose in addition to cosmetic concerns). He is dedicated to providing patients with a refined but natural-looking nasal appearance, as well as preserving nasal structure and function over time.
He is appointed in the NHS as a Rhinologist and Facial Plastic Surgeon at St. George’s and Croydon University Hospitals. His NHS practice is highly specialised in surgery of the nose and sinuses (rhinology), with a particular focus on reconstructive septorhinoplasty following nasal injury. This focused surgical practice has enabled him to amass a broad range of modern rhinoplasty skills applicable to cosmetic surgery.
He studied Medicine at University of Cambridge and at University College, London, graduating with Distinction in Clinical Practice. He completed his specialist training in centres of excellence in London, including the Royal National Throat, Nose and Ear Hospital, St. Mary’s Hospital and Charing Cross Hospital. He went on to spend a further year completing a prestigious Fellowship in Rhinology and Facial Plastic Surgery at St. George’s University Hospital.
Mr Jacques is a Fellow of the Royal College of Surgeons of England, and a member of multiple national and international academic societies, including the European Rhinologic Society, the British Rhinological Society and the European Academy of Facial Plastic Surgery. He is a member of the Editorial Board for the specialist medical journal, Rhinology. He has published numerous scientific articles in leading medical journals, contributed to specialist textbooks and lectured internationally on rhinology and rhinoplasty at medical conferences.
3. Mr Amir Sadri
Amir Sadri undertook his medical studies at The University of Liverpool. During this time he also gained an honours degree (BSc) in Anatomy. He graduated in 2007 (MB ChB) and continued his surgical training in London to become a Member of the Royal College of Surgeons of England (MRCS) in 2008.
He trained in Plastic, Reconstructive & Cosmetic Surgery at a number of plastic surgery units both in London and Liverpool. Amir has trained with some of the UK’s top Cosmetic Surgeons and was the Cosmetic Fellow at The London Clinic. He passed the Plastic Surgery Specialist Fellowship – FRCS (Plast) – of the Royal
College of Surgeons in 2017, and entered into the GMC Specialist Register for Plastic Surgery in 2019.
Amir is widely published with over 40 peer-reviewed papers on an extensive range of plastic, reconstructive, and cosmetic surgery. He has presented work internationally in Europe and the USA.
He is a Consultant Plastic Surgeon at Great Ormond Street Hospital. This involves the reconstruction of children with cleft lip and palate and vascular anomalies. His cosmetic practice includes all aspects of aesthetic surgery, but his particular interest is in rhinoplasty and facial aesthetic surgery.
4. Mr Florian Bast
Florian is a fully licensed substantive consultant ENT surgeon at Guy´s and St. Thomas´ Hospital, London, with a specialist interest in rhinology and facial plastic surgery. Previously, he was an ENT Consultant at the University of Berlin, Germany.
During training, he studied at the University of Heidelberg, Germany; NYU, New York, USA; University of Sydney, Australia; and University of Zurich, Switzerland. He completed his higher surgical training at the University of Heidelberg and the University of Berlin, Germany. He received the German Board Certification as Specialist in Otorhinolaryngology, Head and Neck Surgery (UK CCT equivalent) in 2011 and the German Board Certification for Sub-specialisation in Facial Aesthetic and Reconstructive Operations in 2015.
In 2014 he spent 18 months doing the highly prestigious craniofacial and facial-plastic fellowship at Chelsea and Westminster Hospital, London.
His primary focus is on rhinology and facial plastic surgery, which includes medical and surgical treatment of chronic rhinosinusitis, including balloon sinuplasty, functional and aesthetic septorhinoplasties, and surgery for patients with snoring problems and obstructive sleep apnoea. He also has extensive experience in the use of Cosmetic injectables and Dermal Fillers and is one of the most experienced surgeons in the UK in performing endoscopic balloon dilatation of the Eustachian Tube.
He is the founder and Director of ‘The Aesthetic and Functional Use of Cosmetic injectables Course for Doctors’ in Berlin, Germany, which is held twice a year
As part of his academic work, he lectures at national and international conferences and has published extensively in his field of expertise. He is also an editorial reviewer of major scientific papers in Otolaryngology and Facial plastic surgery.
5. Dr. Stefano Cotrufo
Dr Cotrufo is fully registered with the United Kingdom General Medical Council since 2005 and is on the Plastic Surgery Specialist Register – Registration number 6154368. He is also a fellow of the European Board of Plastic Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgery (EBOPRAS) and a Member of the British Association of Head and Neck Oncology (BAHNO) and the Italian Society of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery (SICPRE).
Dr Cotrufo was born in Naples, Italy. His medical training and experience in plastic surgery began at the University of Napoli, Italy followed by the University of Messina, Italy, where he graduated top of his class.
