Our Doctor, Clinic and Hospital Verification Criteria

Our Purpose: To ensure that users can confidently reach real and authorized healthcare professionals. The “Verified” label indicates that, as a result of independent reviews conducted by Doktoron, the identity, professional authorization, and institutional information of the profile owner have been found to be consistent with reliable sources.

1. Scope

This policy covers the profiles of doctors, clinics, hospitals, and other healthcare institutions listed on Doktoron. The “Verified” label is granted only to profiles that have passed Doktoron’s verification process. Profile owners cannot apply for this label.

2. Verification Criteria

  • Identity accuracy: Information confirming that the profile owner is a real individual or institution is verified through official sources.
  • Professional authorization: The licensing status of doctors and the official registrations of clinics and hospitals are checked.
  • Address and contact validity: The contact information provided in the profile must be consistent with verifiable institutional sources.
  • Service consistency: The specialty, field, and services offered must not contradict reliable publicly available information.
  • Ethical compliance: If publicly available sources reveal serious disciplinary actions, license revocations, or fraud records, the verification label will not be granted or may be removed.

3. Verification Process

Verification is not application-based. Doktoron has the authority to evaluate profiles through its internal review processes and publicly available official data. This process is entirely under the control of Doktoron and is not shared with third parties.

4. Meaning of the Label

The “Verified” label only means the following:

This doctor/clinic/hospital/healthcare institution has been reviewed by Doktoron and verified automatically/manually using publicly available sources as references.

The label is displayed solely to increase user trust. It does not constitute any official licensing guarantee, medical advice, or legal responsibility statement.

5. Removal of the Label

  • Detection of incorrect or misleading information
  • Loss of license or authorization
  • Emergence of suspicion of fraud or breach of trust

In such cases, Doktoron may remove the label. The profile owner may appeal this decision.

6. Right to Appeal

If the profile owner believes that the verification label has been removed incorrectly or that the profile information has been misjudged, they may request a re-evaluation by sending a written notice to verified@doktoron.com.

7. Data Protection

During verification checks, no personal verification documents are stored for long periods. Doktoron only uses publicly available and verifiable sources. Privacy and data security are protected in accordance with GDPR regulations.
