In 2012, I began my specialization training in Plastic, Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgery at Health Sciences University Ankara Training and Research Hospital.
During my residency, I had the opportunity to learn and perform numerous aesthetic, reconstructive, and microsurgical procedures.
In 2014, I attended the International Microsurgery Course held in Monza, Italy, and obtained an internationally recognized microsurgery certification.
In 2015, with the support of the Ministry of Health, I participated in an international healthcare program in Uzbekistan, where I performed numerous surgeries on patients with cleft lip and palate as well as burn injuries over a period of approximately 10 days.
I have enhanced my knowledge and skills by attending many national and international congresses and courses.
In 2017, I completed my specialization and earned the title of Specialist in Plastic, Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgery.
Between 2017 and 2019, I worked at Aydın Atatürk State Hospital, where I performed numerous aesthetic and reconstructive surgeries.
I gained three years of experience in private practice and the private sector in Aydın and Istanbul.
I am fluent in English and have intermediate proficiency in German.
I am a member of the Turkish Medical Association (TTB), Turkish Society of Plastic, Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgery (TPRECD), Aesthetic Plastic Surgery Association (EPCD), and the International Society of Aesthetic Plastic Surgery (ISAPS).

2. Assoc. Prof. Dr. Barış Çakır

Associate Professor Dr. Barış Çakır, born in Adana in 1975, entered Çukurova University Faculty of Medicine in 1993. During his technical high school education, he worked in “manual skills development workshops” for four years. Therefore, after graduating from medical school, he planned to choose a surgical field where he could utilize these skills.
In 1999, he began his training in Plastic, Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgery at Kartal Training and Research Hospital. He focused his work on microsurgery, one of the most challenging branches of surgery. During his training at Kartal Training and Research Hospital, he performed nearly 500 microsurgical operations and worked particularly on fingertip amputations in children.
During his studies, he developed a new “vascular suturing technique” and based his thesis on this subject. He presented this technique at the National Plastic, Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgery Congress in 2004 and won the “first prize in the experimental assistant presentation competition.”
He also worked on muscle movements in the repair of congenital cleft lip deformities, and the muscle suturing technique he developed was awarded the “first prize in the clinical assistant presentation competition.”
In 2004, he worked for one month with Dr. Serdar Eren at Media Park Clinic in Cologne, Germany. During his residency, he published 11 international and 8 national articles and delivered 9 oral presentations at national congresses.
After completing his specialization, he became interested in sculpture and art history to achieve more successful aesthetic surgery outcomes. He received sculpture training at the Faculty of Fine Arts of Süleyman Demirel University in Isparta.
He continued his sculpture education at the Faculty of Fine Arts of İnönü University in Malatya and has been continuing his sculpture and drawing training with Yusuf Başoğlu. Associate Professor Dr. Barış Çakır is married and has two children.
Associate Professor Dr. Barış Çakır is a plastic surgeon specialized in rhinoplasty and is particularly known for surgeries that preserve the natural structure of the nose.
He has made significant contributions to rhinoplasty with specially designed surgical instruments such as the “Çakır Polygons” and the “Çakır Nasal Bone Rasp.” Combining his passion for his profession with his love for sculpture, he performs each surgery with the precision of both a skilled physician and a refined sculptor.
Performing more than 200 rhinoplasty surgeries annually, Associate Professor Dr. Barış Çakır is invited as a speaker to many international congresses around the world in addition to organizing rhinoplasty courses.

3. Assoc. Prof. Dr. Güncel Öztürk

Born in Istanbul in 1979 as the son of an artist father, he grew up in an artistic environment due to his father being a sculptor. Influenced by this, Güncel Öztürk created numerous sculptures and paintings. In 2003, he graduated from Istanbul University Cerrahpaşa Faculty of Medicine and received the title of Medical Doctor.

In 2007, he received further training in rhinoplasty and breast aesthetics at the University of Miami, Jackson Memorial Hospital, Department of Aesthetic, Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery in Florida, USA.
After completing six years of Plastic, Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgery training, he became a specialist. He completed his military service at Malatya Military Hospital in the Department of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery and fulfilled his compulsory service at Sivas Numune Hospital in the same field.
He received the Turkish Plastic, Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgery Board Certification in 2010. Associate Professor Dr. Güncel Öztürk was awarded the title of Associate Professor in 2024.
He is a member of the Aesthetic Plastic Surgery Association (EPCD), American Society of Plastic Surgeons (ASPS), German-Turkish Association of Plastic Surgery (VDTPC), International Society of Aesthetic Plastic Surgery (ISAPS), and European Board of Plastic, Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgeons (EBOPRAS).
