Prof. Dr. Ali Özdek was born in 1970 in Ankara. He completed his high school education at İstanbul Atatürk Science High School.
He graduated from Hacettepe University Faculty of Medicine in 1994. Immediately afterward, between 1994 and 1998, he completed his specialty training in the ENT Department at Hacettepe University Faculty of Medicine.
He earned the title of associate professor in 2004 and professor in 2011. In 2013, he became a specialist in oral, facial, and maxillofacial surgery.
In 1998, he served as an associate professor in the ENT clinic at Ankara Training and Research Hospital. In 2005, he worked as assistant chief at the ENT clinic of Dışkapı Yıldırım Beyazıt Training and Research Hospital. From 2011 to 2014, he served as an ENT professor at Karabük University Faculty of Medicine.
He participated as an observer physician at the Miami Ear Institute, USA, for 3 months in 2004, at Gruppo Otologica, Italy, for 2 weeks in 2008, and at Ludwig-Maximilians-University, Germany, for 1 week in 2011.
In 2008, he became a member of the Advisory and Scientific Boards of the National Newborn Hearing Screening Program and served as a trainer during this period. Since 2011, he has been a member of the International Endoscopic Ear Surgery Working Group.
In 2013, he organized the symposium titled “Endoscopic Ear Surgery.” Between 2008 and 2010, he served as secretary of the Otology and Neurotology Society and was on the board for the following 2 years. Prof. Dr. Ali Özdek is a member of the “Turkish ENT Society,” “ENT and Head-Neck Surgery Society,” and “Rhinology Society.”
He has published hundreds of articles in scientific journals both in Turkey and internationally and has been invited as a speaker to numerous national and international meetings.
Since 2015, he has left his previous institution and opened his own clinic. He currently serves patients at his clinic in Çankaya, Ankara.
2. Dr. Cihan Karaca, MD
