1. Psychiatrist Dr. İrfan Basmacı, MD
He graduated from Ege University Faculty of Medicine in 2011. In the same year, he began his specialization training in psychiatry at İzmir Katip Çelebi University Atatürk Training and Research Hospital and completed his training as a specialist in 2016. He fulfilled his compulsory service between 2016 and 2018 at Erzincan Mengücek Gazi Training and Research Hospital.
Between 2019 and 2020, he worked as a specialist physician at the AMATEM unit of İzmir Katip Çelebi University Atatürk Training and Research Hospital and continued his scientific research.
In August 2020, he started working at Yedikule Surp Pırgiç Armenian Hospital. He continued his scientific work in the fields of addiction and general psychiatry.
He continues the treatment and follow-up of patients requiring inpatient care at Surp Pırgiç Armenian Hospital.
He is currently providing medical services to his patients at his private clinic in İstanbul Şişli Nişantaşı.
2. Psychiatrist Dr. Ayşe Zeynep İpek, MD
Specialist Dr. Ayşe Zeynep İpek is a graduate of Dokuz Eylül University Faculty of Medicine and completed her specialization training at Uludağ University Faculty of Medicine, Department of Mental Health and Diseases.
With 12 years of medical experience, Psychiatrist Dr. Ayşe Zeynep İpek has also worked as an academician with the title of Assistant Professor (Doctor Lecturer) at Afyonkarahisar Health Sciences University (AFSÜ) Faculty of Medicine and Kırıkkale University (KKÜ) Faculty of Medicine. During this period, she trained many medical students and psychiatry physicians.
She has also received extensive psychotherapy training and closely follows the latest developments in mental health and behavioral sciences. In addition, she has participated in numerous scientific events both nationally and internationally, contributed to these events, and played an active role in their organization.
She is currently providing medical services to her patients at her private clinic in Ankara Çankaya.
3. Psychiatrist Prof. Dr. Cumhur Taş
Prof. Dr. Cumhur Taş completed his Psychiatry Residency Training at Manisa Celal Bayar University Faculty of Medicine, Department of Psychiatry between 2006 and 2011. Between 2008 and 2011, he served as an honorary clinical researcher at the Institute of Psychiatry, King’s College London in the United Kingdom.
In the final year of his psychiatry residency, he worked as a clinician and researcher at the Department of Neuropsychiatry at Ruhr University in Germany. He also completed the International Multidisciplinary Neuroscience Doctoral Program (IGSN) at the same university with high honors and earned the title of Doctor of Neuroscience.
He resides in İzmir, provides clinical services, and teaches at the Department of Psychology at İstanbul Üsküdar University on Mondays and Tuesdays.
He is currently providing medical services to his patients at his private clinic in İzmir Konak Alsancak.
4. Psychiatrist Dr. Emine Filiz Uluhan, MD
He was born in Adana in 1967. He graduated from Akdeniz University Faculty of Medicine.
He worked respectively at Istanbul Kartal SSK Hospital, Osmangazi University Faculty of Medicine Department of Anatomy in Eskişehir, Akdeniz University Faculty of Medicine Department of Public Health in Antalya, Serik No. 1 Health Center, and Serik State Hospital.
He completed his specialization training at Süleyman Demirel University Faculty of Medicine, Department of Psychiatry. After his specialization, he worked at Van Training and Research Hospital, Ayvalık State Hospital, Private Andeva Yıldız Hospital in Antalya, and Private Muratpaşa Medical Center.
He has worked on psychotherapy and hypnotherapy with various groups in Istanbul and İzmir. He is currently continuing his integrative psychotherapy studies within the Psychotherapy Institute.
He is currently providing medical services to his patients at his private clinic in Antalya Muratpaşa.
5. Psychiatrist Dr. Özyıl Öztürk Sarıkaya, MD
He graduated from Trakya University Faculty of Medicine. After graduation, he gained his first professional experience by working at Edirne 112 Emergency Service. He completed his psychiatry residency, which he had been interested in since his first year of medical school, at İzmir Atatürk Training and Research Hospital Psychiatry Clinic, where he was accepted with a high ranking.
His interest in psychotherapy led him to long-term training at the İzmir Halime Odağ Psychoanalysis and Psychotherapy Foundation. The education and supervisions he received at this foundation greatly contributed to his understanding of human behavior, desires, anxieties, and fundamental psychological needs, and helped him better guide and support his patients.
During his psychiatry residency, he gained experience in Addiction Treatment and Child and Adolescent Psychiatry at Ege University Faculty of Medicine Psychiatry Clinic and Child and Adolescent Psychiatry Clinics. After completing his residency, he worked as a psychiatry specialist at Bursa State Hospital Psychiatry Clinic. Since 2010, he has continued his work as the Clinical Responsible Physician at the Bursa AMATEM (Alcohol and Substance Addiction Treatment Center) clinic, which he founded.
During this time, he continued his professional education. He received EMDR Therapy training from Prof. Dr. Burhanettin Kaya and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy training from Prof. Dr. Hakan Türkçapar. He also attended Motivational Interviewing Techniques training organized in Turkey by Graeme Robert Horridge. He has conducted research in the field of addiction and contributed to various studies in this area.
In 2017, he received an honorary award from the Bursa Governorship for his work in the field of addiction. He authored chapters in treatment guidelines for Alcohol and Substance Use Disorders. He has participated in many National Psychiatry Congresses with oral and written presentations and as a speaker.
He is a member of the Turkish Medical Association, the Turkish Psychiatric Association, and the İzmir Halime Odağ Psychoanalysis and Psychotherapy Foundation board of directors. He is also a member of the Turkish Psychiatric Association’s Scientific Working Groups on Alcohol and Substance Use Disorders and Women’s Mental Health. He provides training, courses, and consultancy services to many institutions and organizations. Since April 2018, he has been continuing his work in addiction and individual psychotherapy at his private clinic.
He is currently providing medical services to his patients at his private clinic in Bursa Osmangazi.
