1. Dr. Evren Aldemir, MD
Dr. Evren Aldemir graduated from Ege University Faculty of Medicine and completed his residency in Radiology at İzmir Atatürk Training and Research Hospital.
Throughout his career, he has worked at Erzincan Military Hospital, Trabzon Vakfıkebir State Hospital, and Trabzon Ahi Evren Thoracic, Cardiac, and Vascular Surgery Training and Research Hospital.
He currently practices at İzmir Özel Egepol Hospital, providing high-quality radiology services to his patients.
2. Prof. Dr. Levent Çelik
Prof. Dr. Levent Çelik was born in January 1961 in Zonguldak, Turkey. He completed his primary and secondary education in Tokat and Edirne, and attended Ankara Science High School from 1976 to 1978. He ranked seventh in the national university entrance exam for science and was admitted first in his class to İstanbul University Faculty of Medicine, receiving the Presidential Merit Scholarship for his achievements during university.
He completed his Internal Medicine internship at Londra Ealing General Hospital and fulfilled his mandatory service as a general practitioner in Siirt from October 1984 to July 1986. In 1986, he began his residency in the Radiodiagnostics Department at Haydarpaşa Numune Hospital and became a specialist in August 1989 with his thesis on “Intracranial Ultrasonography in Neonates and Infants.”
He was appointed associate professor in October 1991 and became a full professor of Radiology in 2004. Prof. Dr. Çelik has authored 47 peer-reviewed publications, delivered 39 invited presentations, 21 national and 8 international reports, 48 national posters, and contributed chapters to five books. His work has been cited in over 20 international textbooks and other scientific references.
He currently works in breast radiology at Maltepe University Faculty of Medicine, Department of Radiology, and at the Radiologica Imaging Center. He is a member of the Turkish Society of Radiology and the Society of Medical Imaging and Interventional Radiology.
3. Assoc. Prof. Dr. Volkan Çakır
Assoc. Prof. Dr. Volkan Çakır was born in 1978 in Istanbul, Turkey. He graduated from Dokuz Eylül University Faculty of Medicine in 2004 and completed his residency in the Department of Radiology at the same university in 2011.
He served as the lead physician at the Interventional Radiology Department of İzmir Katip Çelebi University Atatürk Training and Research Hospital for eight years, where he contributed to the establishment and development of the department. Since December 2019, he has been working at İzmir Tınaztepe University Galen Hospital.
Assoc. Prof. Dr. Çakır specializes in neurovascular interventions, including treatment of cerebral aneurysms, arteriovenous malformations, and cerebral artery stenoses. He also manages peripheral arterial and venous diseases, leg varicose vein treatments, uterine fibroid embolization, and interventional procedures for liver and kidney tumors.
4. Assoc. Prof. Dr. Utku Mahir Yıldırım
Assoc. Prof. Dr. Mahir Utku Yıldırım was born in 1978 in Ankara, Turkey. He graduated from Ankara University Faculty of Medicine in 2003 and completed his residency in Radiology at Başkent University Faculty of Medicine in 2009.
Between 2010 and 2012, he worked at the Interventional Radiology Unit of Ankara Yıldırım Beyazıt Training and Research Hospital. He continued his academic and clinical work at İzmir University Faculty of Medicine until 2016.
Since 2016, he has been practicing Interventional Radiology at Medicalpoint İzmir Hospital.
5. Dr. Mehmet Emrah Güven, MD
Specialist Dr. Mehmet Emrah Güven graduated from Süleyman Demirel University Faculty of Medicine. He completed his residency at Gaziosmanpaşa University Faculty of Medicine.
Throughout his career, he has worked at İzmir Ödemiş Private Polyclinic, Süleyman Demirel University Pharmacology Department, Gaziosmanpaşa University Department of Radiology, and Manisa Demirci Hospital.
He is currently practicing at İzmir Özel Egepol Hospital.
6. Dr. Özgür Oktay, MD
Specialist Dr. Özgür Oktay was born in 1976 in Cizre. He completed his primary and secondary education in Ankara and graduated as the top student from İzmir İnönü High School in 1993. The same year, he was admitted to his dream university, the prestigious Ege University Faculty of Medicine.
During medical school, he focused on radiology and successfully passed the specialty examination at the same university’s Radiology Department.
He completed his residency in December 2004 and worked for 2 years at the Scientific Diagnostic Imaging Center. He completed his military service at İzmir Air Hospital, achieving a top rank in the military exam. During this period, he also worked part-time, and later full-time for about 2–3 years at Özel İlgi Cerrahi Tıp Merkezi. He subsequently worked concurrently for 2 years at Özel Gazikent Cerrahi Tıp Merkezi and Özel İrem Tıp Merkezi as a radiology specialist.
He is currently serving patients at his private clinic in Bornova, İzmir.
7. Prof. Dr. Remide Arkun
Prof. Dr. Remide Arkun completed her medical education at Ege University Faculty of Medicine in 1979, earning her Doctor of Medicine degree. She completed her residency in Radiology at the same university in 1985, becoming a certified Radiology Specialist.
She continues her professional practice at the Özel Star Radiology Laboratory.
