Prof. Dr. Murat Topdağ was born in Malatya in 1978. He completed his medical education at Istanbul University Cerrahpaşa Faculty of Medicine (English Program) and graduated in 2004. In the same year, he began his specialization training at the Department of Otorhinolaryngology at Kocaeli University Faculty of Medicine.

Between 2004–2017, he held academic and clinical positions at the Department of Otorhinolaryngology at Kocaeli University Faculty of Medicine. Between 2017–2025, he worked at Acıbadem Altunizade Hospital. As of 2025, he has been accepting patients at Memorial Göztepe Hospital.

His main areas of expertise include ear, nose, and throat diseases, head and neck cancer surgery, and aesthetic rhinoplasty. He continues his professional work in both academic and clinical fields.

Prof. Dr. Murat Topdağ has more than 30 international (SCI) publications as well as numerous national scientific articles. His research has particularly focused on ear diseases, facial nerve injuries, hearing loss, rhinoplasty techniques, and head and neck tumors.

His scientific publications have appeared in international peer-reviewed journals such as The Journal of Laryngology & Otology, Otology & Neurotology, and European Archives of Oto-Rhino-Laryngology.

2. Dr. A. Ahmet Şirin, MD

Dr. A. Ahmet Şirin retired in 2013 after 38 years of medical experience and 25 years of academic service in training and research hospitals. Between 2017–2020, he served as the Head of the Audiology Department at Doğuş University. He continues his private practice, which he has maintained since 1996, at his independent clinic in Nişantaşı, Istanbul, focusing on ear, nose, and throat (ENT) diseases and surgery, without affiliation to any hospital.

Between 1987–1989, he fulfilled his compulsory service in Doğubeyazıt, Ağrı. He then began his ENT specialization at Haseki State Hospital and completed it in 1996. During and after his specialization, he pursued advanced training abroad: in France on laser applications and obstructive sleep apnea surgery, in Germany on laryngology and laser techniques, and in Hungary on endoscopic sinus surgery and ear microsurgery. He devoted approximately one and a half years to training and research on new surgical techniques abroad.

In 1996, he opened his first private clinic in Fatih, Istanbul. Following his specialization, he briefly worked in Akçakoca through a Ministry of Health assignment, and in 1998, he joined the ENT staff of Istanbul Police Hospital. In 2003, he began working in the academic staff of Bakırköy Training and Research Hospital, where he continued until his retirement in 2013.

After retirement, he has continued to provide medical services at his private clinic in Nişantaşı, Istanbul. He performs his surgeries privately at contracted hospitals. Between 2017–2020, he also served as Head of the Audiometry Department and as a faculty member at Doğuş University.

He has participated as a speaker and instructor in numerous national and international scientific meetings, published scientific studies, and taken roles in organizing congresses and scientific events. He served as the president of the 9th Respiratory Summit Congress and the 1st Audiology and Otology Congress. He has developed techniques and innovations in the field of ENT diseases and surgery that have been recognized in international medical literature.

He is among the founders of the Istanbul ENT Association and contributed as a member during the establishment of the Turkish ENT and Head and Neck Surgery Foundation. He is a member of the European Sleep Research Society (ESRS), European Academy of Otology and Neurotology (EAONO), Turkish Sleep Medicine Association (TUTD), ULTED, Sleep Sciences Association (UBİDER), Turkish Rhinology Association, and the Facial Plastic Surgery Association. He also maintains memberships in various international scientific societies and serves as a board chairman and board member in several social organizations.

3. Prof. Dr. Çağlar Batman

Prof. Dr. Çağlar Batman completed his medical education at Hacettepe University, and subsequently received his specialization training at the Department of Otorhinolaryngology at Hacettepe University Faculty of Medicine. He was later accepted to Marmara University Faculty of Medicine. Since 1999, he has been serving as a professor at Marmara University, and since 2015, he has been the Head of the Department of Otorhinolaryngology.

He has been continuing his private practice since 1997. Between 2009–2013, he served as the President of the Federation of the Hearing Impaired. Between 2013–2015, he held the position of European Term President of Pediatric Cochlear Implantation, and since 2015, he has been a Board Member of the European Pediatric Cochlear Implantation organization.

Since 2015, he has continued his role as the Head of the Department of Otorhinolaryngology at Marmara University. In 2014, he served as a Board Member at Academic Hospital. He has been an active member of the Politzer Society since 2007 and a member of the European Academy of Otology and Neurotology since 2004.

In 1995, he performed the first pediatric cochlear implant surgery in Turkey. In 2005, he carried out the first implantable hearing device application in Turkey, and in 2006, he participated as an international global live surgery broadcaster.
