1. Dr. Ali Yurtlak, MD
Dr. Ali Yurtlak was born in Kahramanmaraş in 1970. He completed his medical education at Çukurova University Faculty of Medicine and graduated in 1996. He received his specialization training in Radiology at Istanbul Sadi Konuk Training and Research Hospital.
In the early years of his career, he worked in the field of radiology, and in later years, he focused on Interventional Radiology. He continues his work on minimally invasive and angiographic treatments.
Between 2003–2005, he worked at Okmeydanı Sonomer Imaging Center. Between 2008–2009, he served at Tekirdağ Yaşam Hospital, and between 2009–2020, he worked at Avrupa Şafak Hospital.
Between 2021–2024, he worked at Medicine Hospital. During 2024–2025, he served at İstinye University Hospital Medical Park Gaziosmanpaşa. As of 2025, he has been working at BHT CLINIC Istanbul Tema Hospital.
He continues his professional work in the fields of radiology and interventional radiology, applying interventional methods in both diagnostic and treatment processes.
2. Prof. Dr. Serra Sencer
Prof. Dr. Serra Sencer graduated from Istanbul University Istanbul Faculty of Medicine in 1993. She completed her specialization training in the Department of Radiodiagnostics at Istanbul University Istanbul Faculty of Medicine. In 1998, she received training at the University of Washington, Department of Neuroradiology, in Seattle, USA.
She was awarded the title of Associate Professor in 2003 and Professor in 2009. She currently serves as the Head of the Division of Neuroradiology at Istanbul University Istanbul Faculty of Medicine. She has numerous scientific publications published both in Turkey and internationally.
3. Prof. Dr. Mutlu Cihangiroğlu
Prof. Dr. Mutlu Cihangiroğlu completed his medical education at Çukurova University Faculty of Medicine and subsequently fulfilled his compulsory service. During his military service, he worked as an emergency physician at a military hospital. He completed his specialization training in Radiology at the Department of Radiology at Akdeniz University Faculty of Medicine.
After his specialization, he worked with Dr. Sellar at West General Hospital in Scotland, where he gained experience in GDC coil applications. In Germany, he conducted studies on superior vena cava stenting at Justus Liebig University. In Chicago, he carried out studies in the fields of magnetic resonance imaging and interventional radiology.
In the field of neuroradiology, he collaborated with Prof. Ramsey, Prof. Huckman, and Prof. Osborn. In cases conducted with Prof. Debrun, he observed the intracranial use of detachable balloons. In Germany, at Humboldt University Berlin, he received training in uterine fibroid embolization from Prof. Kröncke.
He became the founder of the Interventional Radiology Department at Fırat University and established interventional radiology departments at two universities and two private hospitals in Turkey. He continues his professional work.
